Vintage 9ct Gold Opal Necklace, Art Nouveau Revival 1940s Pendant

Vintage necklace handcrafted in solid 9ct gold, set with three luminous natural opals. Though stylistically inspired by the flowing, organic lines of the early 1900s, this piece may be of later manufacture, around 1940s: a refined homage to the sinuous grace of the Art Nouveau period.

The pendant features an intricate openwork design with whiplash scrolls and heart-like symmetry, centring around a glowing opal cabochon and accentuated by a suspended opal drop. Another opal sits above the pendant, connecting it to the fine gold chain. The stones display beautiful iridescent flashes of pink, blue, and green under the light, typical of high-quality natural opal.

The necklace closes with a secure tubular clasp, original to the piece.
