Belle Époque Diamond Cluster Ring: 18k Gold Peruzzi Cut, US Size 7.25
This exquisite antique cluster ring dates to the early 1900s, from the refined Belle Époque era.
Crafted in solid 18k gold, it features seven natural diamonds. At its heart lies a sparkling natural diamond weighing approximately 0.30 to 0.35 carats, surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds. The total estimated diamond weight is around 0.60 carats.
All stones are hand-cut in the old Peruzzi cut: a historical precursor to the modern brilliant cut.
The Peruzzi cut, developed in the 17th century and revived in fine jewellery of the 19th and early 20th centuries, is known for its deep pavilion and romantic sparkle.
The ring showcases an open gallery beneath the stones, allowing light to pass through and illuminate the diamonds beautifully from every angle.
