Art Deco 1930s Sterlin Silver Ring with Synthetic Ruby – Vintage Red Engagement Ring

This elegant Art Deco ring, crafted circa the 1930s, is made in sterling silver (hallmarked 935) and set with a vibrant oval-cut synthetic ruby.
The ruby's deep, rich red color is really beautiful, and its faceted cut is equally refined.
The silver mounting features delicate scrollwork details on the shoulders and a twisted rope border around the bezel.

Synthetic rubies were a fascinating innovation of the early 20th century, this ring is a particularly fine example, combining the bold red of the gemstone with the graceful silverwork typical of the Art Deco era.
