Antique Victorian Snake Fob Gold Cased White Chalcedony Serpent Fob Pendant

Antique fob pendant crafted with gold tone metal and white chalcedony.
Datable to the late 1800s, Victorian age.

This fob features a spiral design with two concentric circles, each adorned with finely textured detailing mimicking the snake scales. The references to eternity are evident, both in the spiral motif and in the symbolism of the serpent.

The base is engraved with radiating lines, creating a subtle sunburst effect. The seal side is set with a milky white chalcedony, which would have traditionally been used for personalizing documents with a wax seal.

Perfect as a pendant or as part of a fob chain collection.
