Antique Victorian Crescent Moon Brooch in 14k Gold and Silver

Antique brooch made with solid 14k gold and silver.
Datable to the late 19th, Victorian age.

This crescent moon brooch is beautifully crafted in 14k gold with rose gold accents and likely silver structural parts (untested, but consistent with the materials and techniques of the period).

The crescent is adorned with a series of tiny rose gold ornaments, delicate bead-like dots and faceted motifs, creating a play of texture and light. The fine millegrain border enhances its outline and adds to its refined, celestial charm.
Wonderful patina and contrast between the warm glow of the rose gold and the cooler tone of the underlying metal.

The brooch retains its original C-clasp pin, typical of the period.
