Antique Victorian 18k Gold Serpent Ring: Pearl & Garnet Snake Jewelry
Antique ring hand crafted with solid 18k gold, large baroque pearl and garnets.
Made in 1800s, Victorian age.
The serpent, detailed with a textured surface and garnet eyes, is wrapped around a large baroque pearl, whose organic shape enhances the naturalistic aesthetic of the piece. The pearl is grey with hues of green and purple, and paired with the warm and matte tone of gold gives the ring a mysterious and magical aura. It might not be an easy ring, you have to have the right character to wear it: it's whimsical and eye-catching. A one-of-a-kind piece.
The texture of the gold mimicking scales and the way the snake coils naturally around the pearl showcase superb metalwork and fine craftsmanship.
The head of the ring has a diameter of ca. 0.83 inches (21 mm) and stands 0.59 inches (15mm) high from the finger.
The pearl measures ca. 17 x 15 mm
