French Art Nouveau ring crafted in solid 14k gold, featuring an oval faceted blue gemstone set within an exquisitely detailed floral mount.
The shoulders display finely engraved Art Nouveau blossoms and leaves, characteristic of the French jewellery of the period, giving the piece a delicate and romantic aesthetic.
The gemstone presents a soft, watery blue colour with natural internal characteristics typical of antique cuts. I cannot confirm the exact nature of the stone: it could be a natural or early synthetic gemstone, possibly blue spinel.
