Antique Diamond Floral Convertible Jewel, Necklace / Brooch, Edwardian Belle Époque, c. 1900–1910

A rare convertible jewel dating from the early years of the 20th century, Belle Époque period.

Crafted in solid 18k gold and natural antique rose cut diamonds, with an estimated total weight of approximately 2.40 carats, this wonderfully versatile piece may be worn either as a brooch or suspended from its original gold chain as a necklace.

The two blooming flowers are surrounded by delicate leaves and buds, all pavé-set with natural rose cut diamonds. The gently curved floral motif follows the contour of the neck beautifully, allowing the jewel to sit naturally against the skin with exceptional grace.

The original chain is composed of paperclip links alternating with rounded connecting links and fastens with its original hook clasp.

The reverse retains the original brooch fitting, allowing the piece to be detached and worn independently as a brooch if desired.

Hallmarks for 18k gold are present, as shown in the photographs.
