Antique Art Deco Necklace, 18k White Gold, Natural Diamonds and Sapphires

Antique necklace crafted with solid 18k white gold, sapphires and diamonds.
Ca. 1920s, Art Deco era.

Centred with a natural sapphire weighing approximately 0.60-0.70 ct, surrounded by natural diamonds with an estimated total weight of approx. 0.15 ct., the pendant is a superb example of early 20th-century geometric elegance.

Surrounding the sapphire is a meticulously structured arrangement of rose-cut diamonds, set in square and geometric motifs. The sapphires are further echoed by baguette-cut accents.
The bale is finely detailed and set with a small natural diamond.

The pendant is finely finished with delicate milgrain details along the edges. The openwork construction on the back reveals careful craftsmanship and allows light to pass through the stones.

The necklace is completed by a fine white gold adjustable chain, featuring an additional loop that allows the length to be worn in two different ways: 51.5 cm or 46.5 cm (ca. 20.3 or 18.3 inches).

The clasp is secure and bears a hallmark "750" for 18k gold.

The pendant measures ca. 45.7 x 20 mm
