Antique 14k Gold Portrait Brooch: Hand-Painted Porcelain Two Women

Antique brooch hand crafted with solid 15k gold and hand painted porcelain.
End 1800s to early 1900s.

This brooch is a fine example of hand-painted porcelain encased in a decorative gold frame.

The brooch features an hand-painted miniature on porcelain featuring two women figures, possibly inspired by Renaissance, with fine details and vibrant colors. The lovely detail of their colorful clothes makes it an extremely decorative piece: I imagine it brightening up a dark jacket, for example.
The gold frame has engraved floral and scroll patterns, adding an elegant touch.

Safety chain.

Such brooches were popular for their romantic and artistic appeal, often reflecting sentimental or symbolic themes. The subject makes me think it could be a gift for a sister or a best friend.
