Victorian Albertina Bracelet: Enamel Boat, Silver Foxtail Tassel Chain

A superb and rare five strand Albertina chain. It has an enameled boat to the slide section: this is a rare feature, being flowers the most common subject; the other side of the slide section is finely engraved. Beautiful embossed finials and foxtail tassel charm. Victorian age, ca. 1880.

It can be worn today as a bracelet, please note that it is quite large (8.8 inches length) and would fit a size L.

There are no hallmarks but it was tested as Silver.

Wonderful quality.

Length: 8,8 inches (22,5 cm).

The slide section measures:
0.78 x 0.70 inches (2 x 1,8 cm)
0.2 inches thick (5 mm).

Weight: 30,25 grams.

Very good antique condition, with signs of time and use to be expected in an antique piece of jewelry.
