Antique Leather Box: Pink Tufted Silk Lining, Monogrammed Jewelry Storage

Antique box covered in brown leather and with baby pink tufted silk lining.
Datable to ca. 1890-1910, Belle Epoque era.

A box large enough to hold your favorite jewels or secrets. Originally created to store gloves, the tufted silk lining is perfect to protect delicate, precious items.
Needless to say, the color of the padding, a pale pink, is lovely.
The silver metal details embellish the box, which in itself is a decorative object. I love alternating these kinds of boxes with the books on my shelves, they are very decorative.
The detail of the monogram (C.H.) printed on the lid make it even more sophisticated

Very good antique condition. One of the corner metal reinforcements is dented, please refer to the pictures and video. Most notably, the silk lining is in excellent condition, there are no rips. The key is missing (priced accordingly).
