At the center of the cartouche on the lid, is engraved the name \"Marie\". \u003cbr\u003eComplete with key, perfectly working. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMeasures: 25 x 9 x h 5 cm (9.8 x 3.5 x 2 inches). \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFacts (from the web): \u003cbr\u003eJean-Francois Vervelle founded the firm of Maison Vervelle in 1804 and went on to exhibit at the Paris Expositions of 1827 and 1844 as well as at the Paris Exposition Univeselle in 1855. \u003cbr\u003eThe Decorative Arts Museum in Paris has several of the firm's furniture drawings. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eVery good antique condition.
