A beautifully sculpted antique cameo brooch pendant dating to the late Victorian period, crafted in solid 14k gold.

The cameo depicts an elegant young lady in profile, the carving displays remarkable depth and refinement, with crisp details that remain beautifully preserved.

Executed in exceptionally high relief, the portrait possesses an almost sculptural, three-dimensional quality. In the finest areas of the carving, particularly within the drapery and garments, the stone has been worked so delicately that it creates a subtle impression of translucency, enhancing the sense of movement and lifelike elegance.

Designed to be worn both as a brooch and as a pendant, the piece retains its original hinged pendant bale and sturdy pin fitting, making it versatile and easy to wear.
