Antique Art Deco Necklace with Onyx and Diamond, Silver, Early 1900s

Antique necklace handcrafted with solid silver, black onyx and diamond.
Datable to ca. 1920s, Art Deco era.

Hanging from a light silver chain, the pendant is a drop of black onyx with a small diamond in the center. The workmanship of the silver frame is a minute and extremely refined milgrain.
This is a delicate yet characterful necklace, with workmanship that is hard to find in contemporary jewelry.

Hallmarked: 830 and 800, for silver (shown in the pictures).

The diamond has an estimated weight of 0.10 ct.
The pendant measures ca. 35 x 13 mm (1.3 x 0.5 inches)
Chain: 44 cm (17.3 inches).

Weight: 5.4 grams

Very good antique condition, with signs of time and use to be expected in an antique piece of jewelry.
