Antique 9k Gold Snake Ring: Victorian Peruzzi Diamond Serpent, Size 10.5

Antique ring hand crafted with solid 9k gold and natural diamond.

Made in 1800s, Victorian age.

A powerful Victorian-era snake ring! The snake’s head is set with a small Peruzzi cut diamond, while the triple-band body coils naturally around the finger with sculptural elegance. This motif symbolised eternal love, wisdom, and protection in Victorian iconography.

Hallmarked in London: the partial hallmarks are worn with age, but the lion’s head (guaranteeing English gold) can still be distinguished. The date letter, though rubbed with age, appears to resemble a “D”, which would correspond to the year 1859.

US Ring size: 10.5 (UK: U½ / EU: approx. 63). The generous size makes it especially suitable for men, though it can be worn by anyone who appreciates antique symbolism. I have a feminine hand, and it fits beautifully on my index finger, as you can see in one of the photos.

Band width: 10.7 mm at widest (front), 6.7 mm at narrowest (back)

Full British hallmarks and a clear maker’s mark, shown in one of the pictures.

Very good antique condition, some light wear consistent with age. The stone is secure and the ring is in lovely antique condition: the slightly softened surface and subtle wear speak to its age and authenticity.
